What is Baptism? Water baptism is an outward declaration of an inward transformation. It is a public testimony to your family, friends, and church community that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior.
Why is it Important?

It Follows Christ’s Example: Jesus Himself was baptized, setting the standard for us to follow (Matthew 3:16).

It is an Act of Obedience: Christ commanded His followers to be baptized as a foundational step of discipleship (Matthew 28:19-20).

It is a Powerful Symbol: Going under the water represents the burial of your old life, and being raised out of the water symbolizes your resurrection to a brand-new life in Christ (Romans 6:4).
